Spent 8 hours at my job today working my butt off. It felt awesome. If there was constantly something to keep me occupied like there was today, I'd be so happy. And it looks like it's paying off. The managers like me well enough and were seemingly surprised that I liked to work and picked up things quickly? IDK, strange.

Oh well, ending the week with 36~ish hours under my belt on Saturday. Will have around that many next week, though hopefully more if I clock in some hours on Sunday. My feet will want to kill me by the end of it, but I'll have lots of money come fall if I keep working at this pace.

Could you get any worse, Monday? DX I've only been awake for like an hour and already I've:

- Been woken up with a "Hi I slept in so you have to take your sister to school like right now"
- Had to put out a fire in terms of commission information (resolved, thankfully)
- Cracked the right headlight on the van because I hit the corner of the garage
- Had to clean up dog crap since someone forgot to put them out this morning (WTF)
- Nearly ran into a large truck that decided to turn while I was almost on top of him (asshole!)



I think this is karma telling me I shouldn't have slept without setting an alarm. Here is hoping the rest of the day goes without any trouble.

Been feeling kind of off lately. Maybe it's just the lack of sleep combined with mass amounts of work. Had a 40-some hour work week this week and man did it tire me out. Next week isn't quite so crazy, only about 30-something but my feet are tired and my back kind of aches after every shift. Yeah yeah whine bitch complain elsewhere, sorry for the ickyness, f-list.

Also been feeling pretty sick of my art, it makes me want to cry frustrated tears because I thought I had a direction going for me about a month ago and now I'm not even sure what the hell I want. Which is not cool, considering I have about 50 things I need to be drawing over break that I haven't even started.

I figure I've been spamming my Flist with so much artwork, I should probably write about different stuff XD

I love doing these prints, but I'm really ready to start drawing my own stuff. Also, I need to get on those commissions. Yar.

1. Had a scary moment in my life last week. Four of my really good friends were held up at gunpoint by two men. My friend Stephanie saved the day by faking an asthma attack, so they left her alone. Not to mention that I'm no longer going to make fun of how tiny Sean's car is ever. His mini-cooper ensured that the men couldn't get them in the car and drive away.

After the men ran, they immediately called the cops. The men were caught and ID'd by my friends that same night.

Thank you God.

2. In contrast, tonight was full of so many lulz. It was Midnight Breakfast at Cafe SCAD tonight, and so the group and I went to feast and play Apples to Apples for the LULZ. Pretty much amazing, if you ask me~

3. LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL. I go home on Thursdayyy~~ *dances*

Anyway, for an actual update. Life has been HECTIC asdfjkl; I blame it all on Motion Studies. Yes I do. I also blame it on the fact that I'm thinking of switching majors and that it is THE TIME OF FINALS DUN DUN DUN. One more delicious week here at SCAD before Winter Break.

AT WHICH POINT I will stuff myself full of turkeylurkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, and pumpkin pie. Mmmm yes.
